At 18 years old, I had an eating disorder.
Everyone told me it was impossible to heal.

Yet I did.

Doctors, experts, even loved ones said,

“You’ll never live a fast-paced life again.”
Yet I do.

Today, people tell me to dim myself.

“Don’t say weird things.”

“Don’t be that happy.”

“Don’t be so intense.”

“Be less.”

“Be quite.”

Basically: “Shrink.”

And guess what?

I refuse to listen.

I don’t play by their rules.

I don’t dim my magic.

I chose to expand.

I chose to be unapologetically,

radically, fully ME.
